Lower suction dentures are based around an impression technique, that tries to gain peripheral seal on the lower similar to the upper. Lower dentures are more complex than the upper as the tongue sits on the floor of the mouth and lower suction dentures are not achievable in all cases. However, BPS (Bio functional Prosthetic system) principles are used in positioning lower teeth to give denture greater stability even if suction can’t be achieved
